For ever beloved son
to Lynn and Dan Sr.,
brother to Kelly and Jason,
little sisters Cats and Emily.
Always alive in the hearts and
minds of those who love him;
best pal Scott Trueman,
and the balance of the
Fearsome Foursome,
Dave Kemp and Donnie Nevison;
Cheryl and Yuka.
Little sister Cats said,
extemporaneously, “I know
Bruddy’s not really dead,
‘cause he’s alive in my heart.”
Uncle Bryan once said,
“Dan, you live like
there’s no to-morrow, and I live
like there might be.”
A fitting epitaph for any man.
“The light that burns twice as
bright burns half as long.
And you have burned so very
bright...”
