Taking photos of tombstones has been a pet project of mine for several years. The small group of us who took the photos on this site and worked on transcriptions are all hobbyists and volunteers.
I hope that sharing the photos we've gathered here will help other people research their family history.
The photos of tombstones were taken mainly between 2000 and 2004. So far, I have added photos and transcriptions of seven cemeteries in and around Penetang. I have over a dozen more cemeteries to add from this area. I plan to continue to upload images as time allows, but it's a slow process.
